The CDCE organised an orientation programme for the Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Development on 27th May 2022 at the Centre's Main Hall. The Vice-Chancellor of the university of Peradeniya, professor M.D. Lawansa participated as the chief guest of the event. In addition, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, the acting Dean/Faculty of Arts, Dean/ Managemengemt, Dean/Science, Head and the academic staff of the Department of Education, CDCE administrative staff and students from many parts of the island participated in this event.
