The Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya, the Centre of Excellence of social sciences and humanities in the country currently produces over 2000 graduates annually. The B.A. degree is offered through the Centre for Distance and Continuing Education [CDCE] which is in operation since 1979.
For the betterment of students, the CDCE decided to conduct all the subject-related seminars for six hours. There are no extra charges for this service.

Dear Students (2015 & 2016 Batches),
All students should renew their studentship annually until the completion of their degree programme at the CDCE. Accordingly, all repeat students except those who paid Rs. 3000 during the 100 level examination in 2024 are requested to pay Rs. 3000 in addition to the examination fee to be eligible to sit for the 300 level examination at the end of 2024.
